Without Love / Rocka Rolla (1976)

The first single recorded in 1976 was Without Love written by Dave Hall. The b'side was a cover of Judas Priests Rocka Rolla. The Record Company decided against releasing this single. It is not known if this recording still exists.

Black Leather Fantasy / Rock & Roll Woman (1977)

 

The first single to be released was Black Leather Fantasy written by Adrian Smith. The b'side was another Urchin song Rock & Roll Woman written by Alan Levett. It was released as a promo with the catalogue no. DJS10776 on Friday 13 May 1977. This record is now higly colectable and can be found occasionally on Ebay or at Eil http://eil.com/.

She's A Roller / Long Time No Woman (1978)

The next single to be released was She's A Roller written by Adrian Smith. The b'side was  Long Time No Woman written by John Wright (a song suggested by the record company). The record was recorded in 1977 but did not get released until 1978?. The catalogue no. is DJS10850 . This record is also higly collectable and can be found occasionally on Ebay or at Eil http://eil.com/.

Alan Levett put together the cover for the She's A Roller single while working at an advertising studio. A friend of his working at the studio, designed the logo and selected the photo of the Dublin street urchins for Alan to use.

Urchin - Urchin (2004)

In 2004 High Roller Records collected together the two released singles and their b'sides along with some demos for release as a limited run of 330 on a silver vinyl LP. It is possible to find bootlegged CD's of this release on Ebay although it is uncertain what their quality is. The vinyl itself is harder to find since it sold out.

In 1983 the Japanese band Earthshaker covered the song Animals (written by Adrian Smith) It was renamed Dark Angel and is sung in japanese. It appeared as track no.5 on the L.P. Earthshaker. The song can be found at the Youtube below.
